I'd Love to be More Successful

Hey, have you ever wondered how good life would be if you had a career that provided a six-figure income every year or every month? What would you be doing?

Would you be living in your dream home, on a vast country estate with a selection of cars in your underground garage and a holiday home in your dream location?

Or would you be living in hotels thus avoiding any requirement to maintain your own property, travelling from one desitination to the next on a regular basis and enjoying different cultures and experiences?

Whatever you imagine, can you see yourself living your ideal life? If you can, then hold that thought because the person you can see is your future self!

Now imagine having a conversation with your future self. Let's say you're wondering whether to apply for the job which offers double your current salary. You can fulfill the requirements of the role because you have the knowledge, the skill and the passion – but your current salary suggests that company management would not consider you because you're lower down the management chain that other potential candidates...

What would your future self advise you to do? Remember, they have already made some big decisions to help them get where they are. So would they say, 'No, you shouldn't apply for this one because there are other people with the same skills and experience as you', or would they say 'Go for it. You have the skills, experience, passion and determination to exceed expectations and move yourself onwards and upwards – doing that will move you towards where I am'...

I've shared this concept because it has helped me move forward and achieve the results I seek in a significantly reduced time frame. The future now holds possibilities that would not otherwise have existed.

So, if you are currently at a position where there is uncertainty over available options which could significantly impact your future (for the better or for the worse), have a conversation with your future self. It might motivate you to try something which you hadn't previously considered as a possibility. And it could help you achieve what you desire more efficiently than othre options.

Please let me know how your future self accepts this suggestion? Would they suggest different advice?
